According to traditional herbal medicine, dandelion root has a cooling energetic and is therefore recommended for individuals showing signs of excess heat in the body.
Animals with warm or hot energy may, for example, feel warm in their skin and ears, seek cooler places, or have a more pronounced body odor. Dandelion root is then used as a natural supplement to support the body's own processes.

Instructions for use
Prepare the dandelion root as a decoction. Place 1 heaped tablespoon of dried root in a stainless steel pot with 2.5 dl of cold water. Simmer on low heat for at least 20 minutes. Let cool and strain the liquid into a glass or ceramic container. Store finished decoction in the refrigerator and use within two days. The roots can be reused a couple of times.
Recommended daily dosage as advised by a herbalist:
XS dog and cat (under 5 kg): 30 ml
Small dog (approx. 10 kg): 60 ml
Medium dog (approx. 20 kg): 120 ml
Large dog (30–40 kg): 180–240 ml
XL dog (45 kg +): 360–480 ml
Mix the liquid with the animal's food. The daily dosage can be divided over several meals.
