Madam is a blend of finely ground herbs with a long traditional use in connection with a female dog's reproductive cycle. During heat and pseudopregnancy, the body is exposed to significant hormonal and physiological stresses, which can affect the skin, stomach, and general well-being.
Herbs like verbena and chamomile have traditionally been used for their calming properties and to support digestion, while chasteberry and St. John's wort are known for their association with hormonal balance. Raspberry leaves and poppy leaves have been used for generations to support the reproductive organs.
Madam is used as part of a holistic approach where diet also plays a significant role. How well a female dog manages heat and pseudopregnancy is closely linked to her overall health and gut function. For best results, it is recommended to start administering the product well in advance, as herbs work gradually.
