Beeswax Wraps - Poppy

The beeswax wrap allows you to store your food in a natural and plastic-free way. It serves the same function as

plastic wrap and adheres just as well around  food items or dishes. Wrap the cloth around cheese, vegetables, fruit, or a plate of food and warm it with your hands so it molds around the item. Care instructions: Hand wash under running cold/lukewarm water, a small amount of organic dish soap can be used. Dry with a towel or let air dry. The cloth should not come into contact with high temperatures as the beeswax will melt.

With proper care, the beeswax wrap can last approximately one to two years (or about 400 uses) and can then be re-impregnated. This is done by treating the fabric with a new beeswax mixture, making the wrap last even longer.
